Organic
Organic aquaculture follows strict regulations, which control how the fish is farmed, what is eats, how it is looked after and how it is harvested. The key philosophy is to replicate nature as close as possible. All feed ingredients have to be certified Organic, the fish meal and fish oil used have to come from off cuts or certain fisheries and the colorant is a natural carotenoid produced by a bacteria. The nets the fish are kept in cannot be treated with copper based antifoulants and the fish have much bigger space to swim around in. All in all, the result is a methodolgy which is better for nature, better for the fish and better for the consumer.
